Summit Day Agenda

Introductions/ Greeting:

Will offer a higher level history of how our community was selected as a pilot
community.

Presentation:

• Robin Steed (Workforce Development Board)

An over view of the Peterborough project’s development thus far and potential uses for
the data.

Break/ Lunch (approx. 1 hr): 

A working lunch where attendees will sit at sectoral tables so they can begin discussing the data over lunch.

Working groups:

- The disc with the Benchmarking Tool will be shown and attendees will have the opportunity to use it on
laptops.
- Sectoral analysis will be facilitated and salient points will be noted on flip charts
ensuring all voices and opinions and thoughts are included

Coming together, Priorities & Next Steps:

Return to large room as a whole and share findings, mixing sectoral groups and
becoming the ‘overall’ group.

Final facilitation will bring the pieces back together and determine where we as a whole
should go from here.

Benchmarking Summit for Area Leaders

Community and business leaders have been chosen and invited to to come together to  explore the relevance of the data and options for making the quantitative data more user friendly for the end consumer.

Please join us on November 14th, at the Westdale United Church at 1509 Sherbooke Street, Peterborough, On.  We will haveErik Lockhart facilitate our Summit.  Reviewing the data for our area and uncovering ways that we can share and utilize this data to attract more people and business into our collective area.
